The inexorable march of new technology in everyday life is heavily impacting the nature of financial services in Asia. One area of particular interest is the degree to which financial services are increasingly being provided via non-financial platforms or apps – embedded finance.

As technology has improved over time, so have financial services. Embedded finance is another iteration of this journey, and it is playing out in real time throughout Asia’s financial ecosystem. Both financial and non-financial players are looking for ways to innovate and claim or defend market share in Asia’s financial service markets.
