Chinese securities investment funds turnover decreases
The latest figure announced by the CSRC indicates that in early 2014, the number of Chinese securities investment funds registered increased, with the total turnover declined dramatically.
This is a signal of investors’ depressed investment attitude towards investing in securities markets in China, especially via Chinese esecurities investment funds.
Currently, the Chinese stock market is performing relatively weak, especially the A-share market. For debt / bond markets, as Chinese corporate bonds and local government debt carry large potential default risks, the investors tend to be more cautious as well.
