China’s smartphone market might be maturing
An interesting graphic from IDC and WSJ looks at the declining growth rate in smartphone sales in China. China’s smartphone market is maturing.
What is interesting about this is the integration of smartphones with online finance. This has obviously been an area of focus for the market as to run Wechat or Alipay you need to have a smartphone of some sort. Although this likely won’t have a negative impact on the market, it will be interesting to keep an eye on.
